About Khopra Danda Trek

Khopra Danda trek is one of the recently opened short and easy Annapurna regions trekking with highlighted Annapurna massif range. This Khopra Danda trek is also known as Khopra ridge trek and Khaer lake trek. This short Annapurna trek is perfect for non-adventurous trekkers, families, and the trekkers who would like to trek with no crowd.

This Khopra Danda trek presents the scenic views of huge snow-capped mountains from a very close view, green hills, beautiful Khaer lakes, terraces, and much more. The Mulde viewpoint is the main attraction to see the scenic view of the Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri Himalayan range. Khopra Danda trek covers two different viewpoints Mulde and Poon hill to see the incredible sunrise and the sunset. This two weeks trek has a good chance to explore Nepal very well. This trip begins following the heritage tour of the Kathmandu and leads to the mountain. The Gurung and the Magar people are the main ethnic people in this region.

Khopra Danda trek starts after driving about an hour and a half to Nayapul and trek to the Ghandruk then leads to the main viewpoint (Mulde) and ends with another viewpoint (Poon Hill).  Ghandruk is the biggest beautiful Gurung village in the Annapurna region. The route goes through the dense forest of oaks, bamboo, pine, and rhododendron. This trek allows the trekkers to see and know about the culture and the lifestyle of the Magar and the Gurung people. The trekkers will never feel bored with the trek because they can see the mountains and the much more attractions. The forest will be very colourful in the spring with various type of rhododendron. The Kharka of the Yak and the ship are here to feed because they need cold weather to survive.
