From Sanasa, you descend for about 45 minutes to Phunki Tenga, stop for lunch, and ascend for two hours through pine and rhododendron forests to Tengboche. Tengboche has an ancient Buddhist Monastery, and the monks make regular offerings each morning and evening. You can visit the monastery and join the program in the evening. Overnight in Tengboche.
