Normally, Everest base camp trek is 12 days itinerary for most of the trekkers. But this luxury Everest base camp trek has 14 days itinerary.

If you have limited time and would like to do luxury Everest base camp trek, it is also possible returning with a helicopter after visiting the base camp direct to Kathmandu.

Everest base camp luxury trek begins with a scenic mountain flight to Lukla and treks to the base camp in 8 days and 6 days to Kathmandu from base camp. After the flight to Lukla, you trek to Phakding for the first-night stay and trek to Namche Bazaar the next day. Namche Bazaar is one of the most beautiful towns in the Everest region so here you will spend 2 days for altitude practice. Then you trek to Dibuche, Dingboche, Lobuche and base camp.

After visiting the base camp and Kala Patthar, you trek back to Thukla, Dibuche, Namche, Phakding, and Lukla slowly then take a flight back to Kathmandu.

Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, Airport representative from Frolic Adventure will pick us up and takes to our 4-star hotel or suite hotel with private transport. Here we meet a manager from the company and talk about the program.

Today we have a full day heritage tour in the Kathmandu valley. We start our tour after breakfast at the hotel around 9 am. Our tour guide takes us to 4 UNESCO world heritage sites with private transport. We visit Kathmandu durbar square, monkey temple, Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath and learn about history, culture, religion, and much more with our guide then drive back to our hotel.

This is a day our adventure trip begins. We fly to Lukla in the early morning with a small aircraft. After 30 minute scenic flight, we land on Lukla airport and start our hike to Phakding. We pass some beautiful sherpa settlements like Chheplung, Thadokosi, and Ghat. We have a great view of some white mountains, rivers, forest, and Buddhist monuments while we trek to Phakding.

Today is our long day trek to Namche Bazar. We cross 5 different suspension bridges for the same river (Dudhkoshi). After crossing 2 bridges and walk about 3 and a half hours, we reach Monjo from where the national park start. Then we cross another bridge and stop for lunch. After lunch in Jorsalle, we trek 2-3 hrs more crossing the highest suspension bridge of this region and ascend to a hill. Namche Bazaar is the most beautiful town along the way to the Everest base camp trek so we spend this night here.

Acclimatization is an important key to avoid the altitude sickness so we take an altitude practice rest day today here in Namche. We hike up to the Everest view hotel which takes us around 2 hrs to reach the Everest view hotel. We pass a high airport (Syangboche) on the way and see beautiful view of Amadablam, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and many other high mountains from the trail and the Everest view hotel. After enjoying the view from this viewpoint, we hike back to Namche Bazaar again and stay overnight.

Today we trek from Namche Bazar to Deboche with the great view all around us. The first 2 hrs trail is nice and clear made by an old man collecting donation with the visitors. When we cross Kyangjuma, we see the way to Gokyo so the trail to the Gokyo lake trek leads from Sanasa. Then we trek downwards to Phunki Tenga and have lunch. After Lunch, the trail ascends through rhododendron and pine forest for 2 hrs to Tengboche and descend another 30 minutes to Deboche.

After the morning view of the Everest, Amadablam and other mountains, we trek towards Dingboche passing Pangboche and Somare. From Pangboche, we will be above the tree line so every moment we will have open views all around us. Dingboche is the highest proper Sherpa village. We see the island peak from this place which is one of the most famous trekking peaks among the climbers.

This is our the second day of the altitude practice. We hike up to the Nangkar-Tsang hill after our breakfast. While climbing to the hill, we see the world's fifth highest mountain (Makalu). Mt. Makalu is not in the Everest region but we can see it today. After hiking around 2 hrs towards the hill, we hike back to the lodge in Dingboche and stay overnight.

Leaving Dingboche behind, we trek to Thukla through a ridge. We can see Pheriche valley on our right from the trail. We stop for our lunch in Thukla and go forward to the Thukla pass after. It takes around 45 minutes to reach the top of Thukla. Here we see lots of monuments of death climbers on this top. We still trek another hour on an easy path to Lobuche from here.

Today we go to closer to our goal. We cross a small glacier keeping Khumbu glacier on our right. After 3 hrs of walking, we reach Gorakshep which is the last night stay on our trek. We rest a couple of hours in our lodge then hike up to Kala Patthar for the sunset view. We see stunning mountain view from this hill and the Everest is very close like you are standing in front of the mirror. Then we hike back to the lodge in Gorakshep.

This is an important day that we are reaching the Everest base camp. We have an early breakfast and hike to the base camp and come back by lunch in Gorakshep. After our Lunch here, we trek back to Thukla passing Lobuche.

We trek today to Deboche passing Pheriche, Somare and Pangboche and back again in the treeline. This should be an easy day for us because it will not be difficult to breathe in this area and can see a beautiful view of the mountains.

After our breakfast in the lodge, we ascend to Tengboche hill for a while and trek down to Phunki Tenga. Again we will ascend all the way to Kyangjuma from this place then trek on an easy flat part after. Today we arrive in Namche Bazaar after struggling in the higher elevations a few days so we can enjoy in Namche visiting some bars and bakeries.

This is our another luxury day of the trek. We trek around 4 hrs to Phakding passing, Jorsalle, Monjo, banker, Toktok and Zamphute and reach the place where we already spent our first night on the way up.

Today is one of the shortest day of our Everest base camp luxury trek. We only trek around 3 hrs but the trail is gradual ascend. Once we arrive in Lukla, we check in the lodge, be fresh and walk around in the town. We can celebrate our last mountain stay here this evening.

Get tired with a few days trek in the higher elevation? don't worry! you don't need to walk anymore today. We have the morning flight from here to Kathmandu today. After a half an hour scenic flight, we get back in the city with a beautiful memory of the mountains. Frolic Adventure invites for the farewell dinner this evening for us.
