Wear light and comfortable hiking gear according to temperature, a sun hat, and sunscreen for this day's Hike. We suggest carrying rain cover or an umbrella if you are on this trip in May, June, July, August, and September. However, these months are not suitable for hiking on this route because of the sleepy trail from rain, and there will be many leaches.

Best Time for Chandragiri - Champadevi Hike

October to April are the best times for Chandragiri – Champadevi Hike. Still, October to December offer transparent visibility compared to the other months to see pristine mountain views and clear Kathmandu Valley. January and February have deep fog in the valley, but you can see the Himalayas. Spring is the dry season, and the City will be hazy, but you can see blooming flowers on the hiking trail in spring. Likewise, summer months have many rainy days, and the forest will be more dense. The walking trail will be moister, so not many hikers will be hiking on this trail now. So, summer is not a perfect time to walk on this route.
