Dhulikhel Namobuddha day tour is one of the nice and easy day tours in Nepal. Dhulikhel is the executive centre of Kavreplanchok district. It is 30 km east of capital city Kathmandu. Araniko highway passes through Dhulikhel which connect with Tibet border Kodari (Tatopani). The people of Dhulikhel are Newar, Brahman, Chhetri, Tamang and others. For this tour, you will drive about an hour early morning to Dhulikhel. Once you reach in Dhulikhel, you will see panoramic Mountain View of Langtang and Jugal Himalayan range with nice river valley and farming terraces. Enjoying the beautiful scenery with your breakfast at the balcony of the resort then you will have the tour of Dhulikhel city. There are some pagoda style temples and old houses with wood carving.
After visiting Dhulikhel, you will drive to Namobuddha. This is a Buddhist site. Namobuddha is on the hillside from where you can see nice snow caps and Panauti/ Banepa valley. On the way to Namobuddha, you will pass pine forest and alluring local villages. There are Buddhist Monasteries and stupa with colourful praying flags. After Namobuddha, you will hike about an hour and a half downwards to Panauti. Panauti is a religious Hindu site where you can see some Hindu temples and local Newari houses. Then you will drive back to Kathmandu from Panauti.
