The Kakani to Suryschaur Hike starts after driving about an hour and a half by private transport to the Kakani from Kathmandu. Crossing the Kakani Village and the scout center, reach the place where is the black tea farm. And the trail enters the dense forest after an army base. The view of the big and long-ranged mountains like Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang is outstanding from different angles; dark green forests, hills, valleys, birds, and colorful flowers make the hike wonderful.
After hiking through the forest for about three hours, arrive at the Suryachaur, an open place with an unblocked Himalayan range. There are some local cottages for lunch with a fantastic view. After the local lunch still, the hike continues to the Jhonr, where the walk ends and drives back to Kathmandu.
