About Dhampus Sarangkot Trek

Dhampus Sarangkot Trek is an easy trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is a journey to a paradise. Annapurna conservation area bounds the trekking area. As the trek is a lowland excursion, so any type of trekkers can do this trek. No worry about the altitude problem. No worry for the trekking season. Every moment of this trekking, you can feel a real Nepali lifestyle and the mountain. This trek is suitable for normal hikers and trekkers. Dhampus Sarangkot trek is in the subtropical climate so there is not too cold even during the winter and you don't need to be worry about high altitude problem.

Beginning from Phedi, you walk through the mixed settlements of Hindus and Buddhists. The agricultural pattern of the local people and their religious lifestyles are significant. During the trek, you can see rice, corn, wheat, millet, beans and potatoes fields. Natural prosperity is at a high level. The Annapurna and Manaslu Himalayan ranges can be explored. Mt. Fishtail lies really at the closer distance and the sunrise view over this peak cannot be explained in words. Green hills and vegetation are abundant. The Gurung village- Dhampus is really attractive in the cultural aspect. People wear a typical Gurung dress and enjoy folk culture. Then you trek further to Sarangkot, which is a good viewpoint of the Annapurna Himalayas and enjoy the views of Paragliding. You can fly from there to Pokhara. Sarangkot is one of the best paragliding spots in the world. After enjoying the sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas, you trek down to Pokhara.
