About Bhotekoshi River Rafting

Bhote Koshi River Rafting is highly adorable among the adventure lovers. It is one of the most popular rivers for white water rafting and kayaking. The River originates in the Tibetan plateau and flows down steeply making numerous technical rapids. The River is categorized IV-V based on the challenging aspect. It is highly recommended to have previous rafting experience.

Driving about 3 hours through the Araniko Highway, you reach to the Lamo Snghu dam, which is the put in the point of the Bhote Koshi rafting. At the backdrop, the Langtang range and Dorje Lhakpa sparkle with its extreme fascinations. After the briefing by the guides, the rafting begins. Safety measures are applied as a helmet, life jacket and others. One after another the rapids come and you may not get time to relax at some places and you keep on rowing the paddle. Class III rapids are followed by the more challenging ones, rated as Class IV. The rapids of the Bhote Koshi River include Frog in the Blender, John's Home, Gerbil in the Plumbing, Liquid Bliss, Dazed and Confused. The River has got a wide beach that is peaceful, where you can spend hours reading books or listen to music. For the multi-days rafters, a campfire is set either at the beach or the resort.
