About Lobuche Peak Climbing

Among two summits of the Lobuche peak, Lobuche East Peak Climbing trip offers an occasion to explore the hidden gem of the Khumbu region. The sceneries of the snow-covered neighbouring peaks and glaciers make your Lobuche peak climbing outstanding. It was first attempted in 1984 by the team of Ang Gyalzen Sherpa. The trip is also favourable to have a peak climbing experience in Nepal.

Beginning from Lukla, you begin the trek to Everest base camp through the Sherpa villages. Continual walk via forests and Sherpa communities of the Sagarmatha National Park, you have a chance to explore the Sherpa culture and spiritual traditions. Namche Bazaar, Khumjung, Pangboche and Tengboche are spiritually loaded villages with centuries-old monasteries, Chhortens and Mani walls. The trek leads you to the Everest base camp and Kalapatthar via Gorakshep. Descending to Lobuche, the peak climbing trail splits towards the Lobuche base camp, which is set around 5550 meters. The climbing route lies on the northern end of the Lake and we climb up through the slope below the glacier of the Southwest face to the ridge forgetting Lobuche and Khumbu glacier. We set high camp on the glacier and attempt to summit. The route to the Lobuche East Peak goes after summit crest north-west across several snow heaps along the way.
