My partner and I recently completed the Annapurna Circuit Short Trek (9 days) with Frolic Adventure, and it was truly the best experience of our Nepal trip! Traveling in December meant fewer crowds, so we got to enjoy a quiet route, breathtaking scenery, and peaceful trails almost all to ourselves.
From the beginning, Frolic Adventure stood out for their clear communication and excellent planning. Our guide, Rajesh, was phenomenal—knowledgeable, friendly, and always looking out for us. He tailored the pace to suit me and my partner, making sure we were comfortable yet challenged, and shared so much about the local culture and nature, which enriched our journey.
Although December trekking meant cold mornings and evenings, Rajesh made sure we were prepared, advising on gear and insulating tea house stays, and the team always checked we were warm and comfortable after a day’s walk. The winter weather brought crisp, clear skies every morning, and the snow-capped peaks were stunning against the blue skies. Quite honestly, trekking during this time turned out to be an amazing experience—perfect for travelers like us who wanted solitude, spectacular mountain vistas, and authentic connections along the way.
One of the best moments was reaching Thorong La Pass—challenging in the cold but so rewarding! We couldn’t have done it without Rajesh’s encouragement and expertise.
We wholeheartedly recommend Frolic Adventure and especially our guide Rajesh. If you’re considering the Annapurna Circuit Short Trek and value a quieter, more personalized adventure, going in December with this company and guide is a fantastic choice. Me and my partner have both agreed: this trip exceeded all expectations and will remain one of our best memories together.
