Annapurna Basecamp (ABC) trek is a standout amongst the most prevalent trek all over the world. Day 01 Arrive in Kathmandu (1350m.)As you arrive in Kathmandu, we will pick you up and drop you at your inn. In the evening you can take a short stroll to Thamel, a touristic center of Kathmandu.
Day 02 Full day cultural tours of Kathmandu valley.On the second day, we will take a tour of the culturally and historically significant areas of Kathmandu Valley. The day includes the visit to Basantapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Temple(Monkey Temple) and Boudhanath Stupa. The architecture, local food, and the religious harmony are the main highlights of the day.
Day 03 Drive to Pokhara, Lake City.(820m.)6-7hrs.On the third day, we will leave early for Pokhara. The bus departs at 7 am and the bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about 6-7 hours. The ride will take you through the hills and along Trishuli River. After hotel check-in at Pokhara, you can take an evening walk along the banks of Phewa Lake.
Day 04 Drive to Nayapul (1070m.) - 1 hr drive. Trek to Tikhedhunga. (1540M.) 3 hrs. From Pokhara, a drive of 1 hour will take us to Nayapul. Our trek will officially begin as we walk from Nayapul to Tikhedhunga. The trek is fairly easy; walking through villages like Birethanti, Ramghai, and Sudame, we will reach Tikhedunga in about 3 hours.
Day 05 Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,850m.)7 hrs.The day is challenging as we have to climb about 3300 steps that take us to Ulleri, a Magar village. On this day, we will cross Tikhedhunga River and Bhurungdi River and pass through the mystical rhododendron and oak forests. We will reach Ghorepani in about 7 hours.
Day 06 Hike up to Poon Hill (3210m.) and trek to Tadapani (2610m.)5 hrs.Poon Hill, one hour walk away from Tadapani, is an amazing spot for viewing the sunrise. We will leave early to see the whole vista of mountains glistening like gold. We will return from Poon Hill to Ghorepani, and then to Tadapani. The route comprises of ridges, and rhododendron and pine forests. We will reach Tadapani in about 5 hours.
Day 07 Trek from Tadapani to Chomrong (2170m.)5 hrs.The day includes steep downhill descend through rhododendron forests. We will cross Kimrong Khola on our way. The route becomes relatively easier as we reach Gurjung. From Gurjung, straight trails will take us to Chomrong, a village dominated by the Gurung. The day comprises of about 5 hours of trek.
Day 08 Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m.)6 hrs. It is mostly descended from Chhomrong through stone staircases about half an hour then ascends to Sinuwa about two hours. The path enters into rhododendron and oak forests, and also crosses Chhomrong River. A sum of around 6 hours trek will take us to Dovan, where we will spend our night.
Day 09 Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3200m.)4 hrs.The path from Dovan is mostly insidethe forest. Then, an uphill trek will take us through Himalaya. The day also takes us to Hinku cave. The first half of the day passes deep through the forests, whereas the latter half comprises sparse forests allowing spectacular Himalayan ranges to bless our steps. From Dovan, it takes about 4 hours to reach Deurali.
Day 10Trek from Deurali to Annapurna base camp (4130m.)4 hrs.Today is the most important day of the trek. We will cross Machhapuchhre Base Camp in transit. After around 4 hours of trek, we will achieve ABC, which offers us the amazing view of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli Peak, Machhapuchhre, and so on. We will spend the night at Basecamp.
Day 11Trek back from annapurna base camp to Bamboo (2310m.)5-6 hrs We will start our return from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo. Walking with the Himalayas accompanying us, we will reach Bamboo in 6-7 hours.
Day 12Trek from Bamboo to Jhinudanda. Natural hot spring. (1780m.)5 hrs.From Bamboo, 5 hours of the uphill and downhill trek will take us to Jinudanda, where we will spend our night. This place is renowned for the common hot spring, where we can unwind and wash off our tiredness.
Day 13Trek from Jhinudanda to Nayapul 6hrs. and drive to Pokhara. 1hrs.From Jinudanda, we will walk passing through Birethanti. It takes about 6 hours to reach Nayapul. From Nayapul, we will board private transportation to Pokhara. The drive will take about 1 hour.
Day 14Drive back to Kathmandu.Fare well dinner with Frolic Adventure.We will back to Kathmandu after successful ABC trek. Depending upon flight timing, we can use our time to visit places at Pokhara or Kathmandu. The night will end with a farewell dinner at Kathmandu.
Day 15Departure to international airport for your final flight.On your last day at Nepal, we will drop you off at the airport for your safe return to home.
