You trek to EBC through the main trail and then split towards the Chola Pass after returning from base camp and ultimately reach to the amazing Gokyo valley and Gokyo Ri.
EBC Gokyo Trek begins from Lukla and moves ahead towards the Khumbu region. Via Monju, you enter the Sagarmatha National Park and reach the bustling Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar. Descending to Dzongla, we reach the toughest part of the EBC Chola Pass trek. It is Chola Pass (5360m), which is technical and may require the climbing equipment if the snow level is high. Both ascending and descending trail is steep and slippery. The beautiful Gokyo valley is the final destination of this trekking. To reach to Gokyo, you need to cross the glacier while walking on it you may feel like walking on the moon. Located beside a huge blue lake, Gokyo valley is also a base for the trekkers to enjoy the day hike to Gokyo Ri. Ngozumba glacier, 4th and 5th Lakes. Everest region Himalayan panoramas, Buddhist incense plants, snow cock and nice looking merganser (mountain duck) on the lake make your trip more wonderful and they are some dazzling attractions before trekking down to Lukla.
