Everest View Trek- 10 days is a suitable trek for those who want to explore the Everest wonders in a short time. Those who have problems to walk in the high altitude also get advantages of this trek to enjoy the excursion in the Khumbu region, get breathtaking views and explore the stunning Sherpa culture. The highest point of Everest view trekking is Tengbuche at 3876 meters.

Everest view trek is also known as Everest panorama trek that begins from Lukla and walk through the main Everest base camp trail. Passing some tiny Sherpa settlements and suspension bridge, you enter to the Sagarmatha National Park. With a steep ascend, you reach to the horse shoe shaped- Namche Bazaar. The refreshing hike through the Sherpa center- Khumjung and the surroundings, you can explore the culturally loaded villages and traditional lifestyle. The trek then goes to Tengbuche offering the spectacular Himalayan panoramas including Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and others. Beside mountains, you will see some wild animals like- Himalayan thar, musk deer and the yaks.Red panda are found in this ares which is rare to see. And big mountain hulk will be flying over you to encourage climbing to the hill. The Tengbuche monastery is a prime attraction here and you feel the spiritual wonder with the charming musical sound played by the monks. Tengboche is the main place of mani rimdu festival. The meditation and prayers are wonderful. Exploring the natural and cultural wonders, you trek back all the way to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01Arrive in Kathmandu(1350m.) Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative of Frolic Adventure will pick you up by private transport and take to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02Pre-trip meeting and Kathmandu cultural sightseeing tour.You will have full day Kathmandu city tour this day with knowledgeable English speaking guide by private transport. You will visit four world heritage sites in Kathmandu. The sites you will visit are: Kathmandu Durbar square, Monkey temple, Bauddhanath and Pashupatinath temple. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03Fly to Lukla(2840m.) trek to Phakding (2610m.) 3 hours.You will take the flight an early morning to Lukla. After flying above the breathtaking green and white mountains, You reach Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla. This is one of the most beautiful air routes in the world culminating in a landing on a hillside surrounded by high mountains. Upon your arrival at Lukla, you meet our other crew members and after some packing and arrangements, you start the trek through the prosperous village of Lukla until you reach Phakding. You only have a short hike today. Overnight at guest house.

Day 04Trek from Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3440m.)6 hours..After breakfast at Phakding, you walk through beautiful pine forests and then along Dudh Koshi River ending our nature-filled journey at Namche Bazaar. After walking for almost over an hour, you come across the glistening Mt. Thamserku (6,608m) on your right and also experience the serenity of pine, fir and juniper forests throughout our journey. If the weather is clear, you may even catch a glimpse of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. You continue walking until you reach the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading center of this region. On that day you cross five suspension bridges, the last one is the highest. It is an uphill walk from this bridge to Namche Bazaar. If you are on Friday or Saturday here, you can visit weekly local market. Overnight at guest house.

Day 05Explore day and acclimatization day at Namche bazar(3440m.) This is the day for acclimatization. Health experts recommend that need to stay active and move around even during the rest day. There are few options set for this day. You will hike up to Syangboche(Everest view Hotel) from here, you can see lots of white mountain including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, beautiful mountain Ama Dablam and many more. After visiting Everest view hotel and enjoying the view, you will return to Namche Bazar. Overnight at guest house.

Day 06Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m.) 5 hours.After breakfast, you trek towards Tengboche. It is an easy walk from Namche to Phunki tenga. Upon reaching Phunki tenga, you will stop for Lunch and ascend to Tengboche, a village that houses the very famous Tengboche monastery which is the largest monastery of the Everest region. Located amidst the Sagarmatha National Park ( UNESCO World Heritage Site of "outstanding universal value”), it is draped with the panoramic 360-degree view of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. The monastery opens at 3pm so youcan visit the monastery. just be able to Overnight at guest house.

Day 07Trek from Tengboche to Monjo(2835m.) 5 hours.After taking your breakfast at lodge in Tengboche, you will trek back to Monjo via Namche Bazaar. You will descend most of the time this day. You stop in Namche for your Lunch and trek another 2 hrs. to Monjo. Overnight at guest house.

Day 08Trek from Monjo to Lukla(2840m.) 4 hours.After having breakfast at lodge in Monjo , you start your trekking and today is the last day of your trekking, the trekking is pleasant, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote-Koshi River crossing it few times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla; the trekking is complete now. You can celebrate your last night here. There are some bars and nice coffee shops. overnight at guest house.

Day 09Fly back to Kathmandu.overnight at hotel.You will take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel, take hot shower and relax. You will be invited for fare well dinner this evening by Frolic Adventure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10Free day in kathmandu and fare well dinner with Frolic Adventure.It's also spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla if we could not fly on scheduled date and time, or we can organize you a day tour in or around Kathmandu, shopping tour etc if you want: or we can remove this extra day from the tour itinerary if you do not want it so, contact us and consult about options available for the day.

Day 11Departure to international airport for your final flight.You will be transferred to the international airport for your final departure to your loving home. Frolic Adventure provides private transport for your departure.
