Scenic Mountain flight:- You will have a scenic mountain flight to Lukla to start your Everest base camp trekking.

Local People:- Sherpa is the local people of Everest base camp trekking area. They are very fit people most of the sherpas are the climber. Sherpa people are following Buddism. They grow potatoes mainly also they gro seasonable vegetable, oat, barley and some other crops. Some locals are doing tourism business around this area.

Traditional houses:- Traditional sherpa houses are also the attractions of Everest base camp trekking. We can see colorful buildings with good carvings along the Everest base camp trek trail.

Flora and Fauna:- Yaks are the domestic animals of Everest reason. They are used for milk, meat, and transport to carry stuff from one place to another. Yaks look cool with lots of hair on them. Groups of Himalayan Thar will be welcoming to you for your Everest base camp trek. Musk deer, red panda, snow leopards also found in this area. Different types of rhododendron, different types of pine, more kinds of nice bussy flowers, Buddhist incense herbs and some other trees with attractive tree moss will be found in Everest base camp trekking trail.

Everest Himalayan range:- Three highest mountain like Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu will be seen in this region. Mount. Amadablam is one of the most beautiful mountains of this area and lots of other mountains like Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, Kangteka, Iceland peak, Nuptse, Peak 38, Tawache, Cholatse, Lobuche peak,  Pumori, Tibetan mountain Khumbutse and many more mountain are the main attraction of Everest base camp trek.

Kalapathar:- Kalapathar is the viewpoint to see beautiful Everest mountain range. You can see Everest base camp, Pumori lake, Khumbu glacier, Khumbu icefall, 360-degree mountain range from the top of Kalapathar. It takes about two hours to climb to the top. It is the highest point of Everest base camp trekking package.

Everest Base Camp:- There are lots people who have the desire to be at Everest base camp because it is the top of the world. Everest Base camp is 5364 meters above the sea level. Everest base camp has a huge amount of ice. You will not see the mount. Everest from the base camp but still can see lots of other mountains. Spring season is the climbing season to climb Everest so you will see lots of colorful tents for the climbers. Everest base camp will be like mini high mountain city during the spring. Once you will be at the Everest base camp then you will feel that I am the luckiest person in the world. 

Everest base camp trekking is one of the most popular trekking in Nepal.  There are thousands of trekkers who visit Everest base camp trekking. Everest base camp trekking is a moderate trekking trail in Nepal. Everest base camp trekking lies in Sagarmatha national park.  It is a world heritage sites of UNESCO. Everest base camp is located in the east of Kathmandu. People can do this trek by flight and use ground transportation to Jiri and Salleri. Using ground transportation is about a week longer than taking flight. Everest base camp trekking is seasonable trekking because of the problem of the flight landing and very cold during the winter. Autumn and Spring are the best time to do Everest base camp trekking. Lukla airport:- A small and attractive airport in Lukla which known as Tenzing-Hilary airport is one attraction of the trekking. Probably it is one of the most attractive runways in the world. After a scenic mountain flight with a view of many mountains, you will land at Lukla airport and stop for your small break before you will get ready for Everest base camp trekking. Lukla is a small town with all kind of trekking shops, groceries, bars, guest houses and much more. After having some hot drinks you will trek to Phakding. Trekking this day to Phakding is a short and easy trek through Rhododendron, pine, and some other forest. You will see some white mountain, waterfalls, cross a suspension bridge, Dudh Koshi river, Buddhist monuments and much more along the trek.

 

After having your breakfast in a guesthouse in Phakding you will trek to Namche Bazar for your second day of Everest base camp trek. You will cross five suspension bridges including the very high bridge. Trekking first part of your lunch is not that difficult but after your lunch at Jorsalle the trail accents for few hours to get to Namche Bazar. Along the way to Namche Bazar, there is a viewpoint known as top danda from where you will be able to see the first view of the mount. Everest. Namche Baxar is one of the nicest villages along the Everest base camp trekking trail. Friday to Saturday market for local will be crowded for sopping by the locals for their needs.  You will have two nights in this place for acclimatization of Everest base camp trekking. When you will arrive in Namche you will do nothing this day you can visit some nice bakeries and just hang around the town and next morning after having your breakfast you can hike to Everest view hotel for acclimatization and to see Everest Himalayan range. Then you will be back again to your guesthouse by the lunchtime after visiting Everest view hotel.  You will trek to Tengboche on your fourth day. Tengboche is located on the hill station with wonderful and old monastery where you can visit the offering by the monks. Trekking to Tengboche is very easy first part and at the end of your day, there is a steep part through the forest about two hours. You may be able to see some wildlife during your trek to Tengboche.  You will trek to Dingboche from here. Dingboche is the highest local village of Everest base camp trekking. You will have another acclimatization day in Dingboche from where you will see fourth highest mountain(Makalu) of Nepal with Everest Himalayan range. After spending two days at Dingboche you will trek towards Everest base camp. You will trek to Lobuche this day by crossing Khumbu glacier and monuments of the climbers at Thukla pass. After Lobuche you will trek to Gorakshep here you can leave your stuff and hike further few hours to Everest base camp then back to Gorakshep for your night. You will hike to Kalapathar next early morning to see an amazing view of Everest mountain range which is pretty much tuff accent to the top of Kalapathar. once you reach the top of Kalapathar you feel like you are in the heaven. After taking some nice photograph from Kalapathar you will be back to your guesthouse then you will trek backward to Lukla if few days and fly to Kathmandu.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01Arrive at Kathmandu (1350m). overnight at hotel.Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative of Frolic Adventure will pick you up by private transport and take to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02pre-trip meeting and Kathmandu city tour.You will have full day Kathmandu city tour this day with knowledgeable English speaking guide by private transport. You will visit four world heritage sites in Kathmandu. The sites you will visit are: Kathmandu Durbar square, Monkey temple, Bauddhanath and Pashupatinath temple. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03Fly to Lukla (2885m.) and trek to Phakding (2652m.)3 hours.You will take the flight an early morning to Lukla. After flying above the breathtaking green and white mountains, You reach Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla. This is one of the most beautiful air routes in the world culminating in a landing on a hillside surrounded by high mountains. Upon your arrival at Lukla, you meet our other crew members and after some packing and arrangements, you start the trek through the prosperous village of Lukla until you reach Phakding. You only have a short hike today. Overnight at guest house.

Day 04Trek from phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m.)6 hours.After breakfast at Phakding, you walk through beautiful pine forests and then along Dudh Koshi River ending our nature-filled journey at Namche Bazaar. After walking for almost over an hour, you come across the glistening Mt. Thamserku (6,608m) on your right and also experience the serenity of pine, fir and juniper forests throughout our journey. If the weather is clear, you may even catch a glimpse of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. you continue walking until you reach the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading center of this region. On that day you cross five suspension bridges, the last one is the highest. It is an uphill walk from this bridge to Namche Bazaar. If you are on Friday or Saturday here, you can visit weekly local market. Overnight at guest house.

Day 05Rest and acclimatization day at Namche bazaar (3440m.)This is the day for acclimatization. Health experts recommend that need to stay active and move around even during the rest day. There are few options set for this day. You will hike up to Syangboche(Everest view Hotel) from here, you can see lots of white mountain including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, beautiful mountain Ama Dablam and many more. After visiting Everest view hotel and enjoying the view, you will return to Namche Bazar. Overnight at guest house.

Day 06Trek from Namche bazaar to Tengboche (3860m.)5 hours.After breakfast, you trek towards Tengboche. It is an easy walk from Namche to Phunki tenga. Upon reaching Phunki tenga, you will stop for Lunch and ascend to Tengboche, a village that houses the very famous Tengboche monastery which is the largest monastery of the Everest region. Located amidst the Sagarmatha National Park ( UNESCO World Heritage Site of "outstanding universal value”), it is draped with the panoramic 360-degree view of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. The monastery opens at 3pm so youcan visit the monastery. just be able to Overnight at guest house.

Day 07Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m.)5 hours.You will walk through lush forests of birch, conifers and rhododendrons on an easy path. This picturesque trail then dips down to Debuche, crossing theKhumbu khola River before climbing up to Pangboche. You willl be able to see group of Himalayan thar around here. You will stop at Somare for your Lunch. You will be above the tree line from this day. Overnight at guest house.

Day 08Acclimatization day at Dingboche (4410m.)After breakfast at Dingboche, you will hike up to Nangar-Tsang hill for your second acclimatization walk. While walking to the hill, you will see lots of big mountain. You can see fourth highest mountain of Nepal(Makalu) from here. After your few hours hike up to the hill, you return to the guest house. Overnight at guest house.

Day 09Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m.)5 hours.You will start the day with a gradual climb to Duglha at the end of the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. From here, you climb up a steep trail to Chupki Lhara, where you find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer) and 10-time Everest submitter Babu Chiri Sherpa who perished on a mission to climb Everest. Next, you continue to the Khumbu Glacier moraine and find facing several great peaks - Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. The trail then easy as you follow the valley to Lobuche. Overnight at guest house.

Day 10Trek from Lobuche to everest base camp (5364m.) via Gorekshep (5181m.)6 hours. You will take the trail to Everest Base Camp this day. Continuing straight ahead, you come across the Indian army mountaineers' memorials. The path from here can be misleading; hence it is important that you follow our guides diligently. The walk is strenuous due to thin air in the high altitude. You will pass through rocky dunes, moraine and streams before reaching the Everest Base Camp. Upon reaching the Everest Base Camp, you see tents of mountaineers in spring that stand out in bright colors against the monotony of gray surroundings then you trek back to Gorakshep. Overnight at guest house.

Day 11Hike to Kalapattar (5545m.) descend to Gorakshep and trek to Pheriche (4210m.)5 hoursYou will hike up to Kalapathar to see scenic Everest mountain range. It takes about two hours to climb on it. After taking some pictures from here, You will come back to the guest house and take your breakfast. After breakfast in Gorakshep, You will trek down to pheriche. Overnight at Guest house.

Day 12Trek from Pheriche to Namche bazaar 6-7 hours.From Pheriche, you cross Pheriche pass which short and easy one then follow the same trail with same view that you passed on the way up. Aftercrossong Tengboche, you start descending towards Phunki Tenga and stop for Lunch. After lunch here, the trail ascend to Kyangjuma and easy trail leads to Namche Bazar. Overnight at guest house.

Day 13Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla.6 hours.The trail descends steeply downward so you need to walk carefully. After crossing the suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi and its tributaries, the trail becomes more level and natural. After your arrival in Lukla, you stretch those sore legs and recall the experiences of the last couple of weeks and celebrate of the trip with last night mountain stay. Overnight at guest house.

Day 14Fly back to Kathmandu.You will catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, you can take a rest. You will be invited for fare well dinner in this evening by Frolic Adventure. Overnight at Hotel.
